Memphis, Tenn., Oct. 26, 2010 – nexAir today announced the addition of Milton Lovell to its senior management team as the company’s chief financial officer and general counsel. He will oversee all financial and legal matters for nexAir.
Prior to joining nexAir, Lovell was a member of Burch, Porter & Johnson, PLLC, where he practiced law as part of the firm’s corporate and transactional practice group focusing on mergers and acquisitions, business transactions, corporate law and taxation. He has worked closely with nexAir since 2002 through his position at the law firm. Before joining Burch, Porter and Johnson, PLLC, he was a senior consultant in the Memphis office of Arthur Andersen, LLP, an international public accounting firm.
“I’ve been fortunate to work with Milton since 2002 and have appreciated his legal guidance for the company,” said Kevin McEniry, chief executive officer at nexAir. “We will benefit significantly from his background and education, which includes finance, accounting, tax and law, and I know he will be a great asset in his role as CFO.”
Lovell currently serves as an adjunct assistant professor at Rhodes College teaching business law and tax courses. He also provides legal counsel to Metropolitan Inner-Faith Association. He is a member of the American, Tennessee and Memphis Bar Associations, Association of Corporate Counsel and Association of Corporate Growth Tennessee Chapter.
Lovell received a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and accounting from the University of Mississippi. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law and his Master of Laws (in Taxation) from New York University School of Law.
