Maintenance
Your needs change day to day, rely on someone that can change the way you work.
If you’re a property manager, the unexpected is the daily norm. Building maintenance might mean monitoring nitrogen in HVAC systems one day and doing some light welding the next. nexAir is equipped with the gases, supplies and KnowHow to make your job easier, so that you can confidently handle anything that comes your way, regardless of the challenge.
Industry Gases
C2H2 |
Acetylene
Mostly used for oxy-fuel cutting and brazing applications, acetylene (C2H2) offers one of the hottest flame temperatures of all commercially available fuel gases. Shop Here. |
Ar |
Argon
Argon (Ar) is used to create an inert gas shield, and is often blended with other industrial gases like carbon dioxide, oxygen, helium, hydrogen and nitrogen to enhance arc stability and improve the characteristics of gas metal arc welding. Argon is also the primary gas used for gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW). Shop Here. |
CO2 |
Carbon Dioxide
Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is most often mixed with argon as a shielding gas used to prevent atmospheric contamination of molten metal in the gas metal arc welding (GMAW) process. Shop Here. |
He |
Helium
An inert industrial gas with high thermal conductivity, helium (He) shields the molten weld pool and prevents oxidation when increased heat input is desired during the welding of metals like aluminum, stainless steel, copper and some magnesium alloys. Shop Here. |
H2 |
Hydrogen
Hydrogen (H2) is the lightest of all the gases. Used to enhance plasma welding and cutting operations, it is commonly mixed with argon for welding stainless steel because of its oxide reducing characteristics. Shop Here. |
N2 |
Nitrogen
Nitrogen (N2) is a critical gas in maintaining the function of HVAC systems in the building maintenance industry. Shop Here. |
O2 |
Oxygen
Oxygen (O2) is used as a plasma cutting gas, an assist gas for laser cutting, and is sometimes added in small quantities to shielding gases for both carbon and stainless steel welding. Shop Here. |
