Cylinder Handler

As a cylinder handler, you’re responsible for handling the products that our customers rely on every day, including high and low-pressure cylinders, specialty gas cylinders, and ancillary equipment. You’ll manage our compressed gas cylinders in the facility and prepare cylinders for shipment.

Job Responsibilities: The Details

Our cylinder handlers are passionate, driven, hardworking professionals who take pride in their job responsibilities:

  • Pulling, checking, and verifying customer orders
  • Preparing and routing merchandise for shipment
  • Packing and shipping orders via UPS, FedEx, Truck Line, or Courier
  • Loading and unloading delivery trucks
  • Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
  • Meeting safety requirements, following safety protocols, and complying with all company policies and procedures

Who We’re Looking For: The Qualifications

Our company culture is fast-paced, professional, and positive. We are seeking cylinder handlers who are responsible, eager, and ready to work. We are looking for:

  • A driven professional with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • A reliable team member with a stable employment record and good attendance
  • A hardworking employee, preferably with forklift experience
  • A meticulous worker with basic computer skills to manage data input and order filling 
  • An exceptionally detail-oriented individual who can work with minimal supervision
  • A team player who works well in a group and is devoted, loyal, and values integrity
  • A flexible worker who is inspired and motivated to work based on your own schedule and goals

While performing the essential duties of this job, our cylinder handlers are regularly required to stand and walk on concrete for an extended period, bend, kneel, and use their hands and arms. Cylinder handlers must regularly move up to 70 pounds with the aid of material handling equipment. Our cylinder handlers also occasionally work near moving mechanical parts in an open warehouse environment and are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions.
