In the past year, nexAir began supplying microbulk argon to Reaper Boats, a custom aluminum boat manufacturer for outdoor enthusiasts. After Reaper was met with an opportunity to expand their operations to a new location, they needed to quickly find a solution to meet their needs, as the lease of their current building was ending soon. Creating a tight deadline to complete their move, Reaper knew that it was necessary to gather an efficient team to make this project possible. Once securing a new location that could facilitate their growing business, the Reaper team explained the situation to their nexAir Territory Manager and began working together to make all arrangements as soon as possible.
With less than a week to complete the entire relocation, Reaper was relying on the nexAir team to assist them during this critical time. The Territory Manager offered to rearrange his schedule so that he could manage the new piping and drop installation. Because of the urgent nature of the circumstance and the high cost of hiring an outside contractor, Reaper agreed that this would be immensely beneficial. But all electrical work had to be completed before any piping could be established; this left only a few days for nexAir to fix the piping and drops. Their Territory Manager worked diligently all-day Thursday and returned on Saturday, successfully securing all the necessary piping just in time before their previous lease expired on Sunday. With everything completed by the strict deadline, Reaper resumed operations that Monday. This saved the company significant costs by reducing lost production time and eliminating the need for a third-party contractor. Now, Reaper Boats is set up for success to expand their growing business in the new facility.
