Gas is delivered directly to your facility by tanker truck, ensuring a steady supply without the frequent changeouts that cylinder programs require. For manufacturers, large welding shops, hospitals, and production facilities where demand is high and consistent, bulk is typically the more economical choice on a per-unit basis and the lower-labor option over time.

The infrastructure investment is the main barrier. Bulk systems require a dedicated outdoor installation with proper safety clearances, which means upfront costs and site preparation that cylinder programs don’t. If your usage is high enough to justify that investment, the long-term savings in gas cost, delivery frequency, and labor generally make it worthwhile.

Bulk and cylinder aren’t the only two options.
