Previously serviced by a competitor, the company reached out to nexAir in late 2024 after learning about our training services such as cylinder handling and oxy-fuel safety. The nexAir Productivity Specialist and Territory Manager – certified as a Quality Safety Sales Professional and a regulator and torch repair technician – scheduled a facility walkthrough with Beaver within the week. There, nexAir identified points of improvement throughout the welding environment as well as cylinder storage.

During training, the Territory Manager discussed potential hazards that could arise from welding and demonstrated solutions. They discussed process improvement factors such as selecting the proper cutting tip, calculating accurate acetylene bottle size to torch, and safe cylinder handling – all crucial aspects to maintaining safety excellence. Additionally, the nexAir team assisted Beaver Manufacturing by setting up a new firewall cart. This equipment ensured compliance with OSHA standards.

Proper training maintains employee safety, and it also helps to eliminate associated costs which can be upwards of $21,000 per injury.
