Prompt Facility Setup with Ajin Georgia

In February 2024, a nexAir Territory Manager visited the construction site of Ajin Georgia after learning that the company was building a new car parts manufacturing plant in Register, GA. Ajin Georgia, a division of its parent company AJIN USA, is a South Korean global automotive manufacturer known for its focus on innovation, sustainability, performance, and – most importantly – people. Recognizing the alignment between the two companies’ values, the Territory Manager saw a collaboration with Ajin Georgia as a mutually beneficial opportunity.

Once construction had progressed, Ajin invited the nexAir team for a facility walkthrough. During the visit, the two teams discussed schematics, gas requirements, necessary equipment, and the overall project timeline. Ajin had installed manufacturing machinery that relied on industrial gases to produce metal parts. Completing the installation and setup on time was critical, as Ajin Georgia is a tier-1 supplier for the Hyundai Motor Group EV Plant in Georgia.

Committed to supporting Ajin Georgia’s success, nexAir paid close attention to every detail and maintained clear, ongoing communication to ensure its team was always available when needed.

During negotiations, Ajin Georgia voiced concerns about a previous supplier at another facility, where it had experienced excessive price increases – seven hikes in just one year. To address this, nexAir worked diligently to offer a fair and sustainable solution that benefited both parties.

nexAir’s Cryogenic Team began installing bulk tanks for nitrogen, argon, and carbon dioxide on August 20, 2024. Just two days later, the equipment was fully operational and ready for production.
